Burt Single Sleeve Vale Engine

I have just been sent a photocopy with more information on the Burt Single Sleeve Valve engine.

Produced by Wallace (Glasgow) Ltd, as the patent holders for the engine, the brochure promotes its engineering and potential for many applications.

The presumption is that Wallace (Glasgow) took on the rights to the engine after the liquidation of Argylls in 1914. Then rights were then sold to Continental Motors in Detroit.

The Wallace (Glasgow) Burt Single Sleeve Valve Engine paper is the third on the archive page.
