Argyll first car in Llangollen?

I have a news paper article about my grandfather whos name was David Sturrock Knox.
He lived in a small town named Gourock. He drove the first car to my home town of LLangollen in North Wales and delivered it to a wealthy family known as Robertsons or Robinsons.
He was also their chaufeur and also had an Argyll car brought to Llangollen in a crate which it is said he assembled.
It is said he brought the first car to LLangollen. We have a picture of him , but would there be any record of this in the Argyle archives?
Thank you very much.
